2. Data We Collect

We collect the following personal data:

• Contact form: Name, email address, phone number (optional), message
• Hong Kong Fit Check (form on /guides/hong-kong-company): your answers to three questions about payment flows, currencies and where the work is done, a short description of your business, your country of residence, your email address and an optional message
• Singapore Fit Check (form on /guides/singapore-company): your answers on where you live and work, where your customers and suppliers are, who could be a director in Singapore, where your business stands today and whether a move is planned, a short description of your business, your email address and an optional message
• Pathfinder tool: Answers to questions about your business situation (anonymized until you provide contact details)
• Automatically collected data: IP address, browser type, operating system, referrer URL, pages visited, time of access
• Cookies: Technically necessary cookies and, with consent, analytics cookies

3. Purpose of Data Processing

We use your data for the following purposes:

• Responding to your contact inquiries and consultation requests
• Providing relevant information based on your Pathfinder answers
• Hong Kong Fit Check: answering your enquiry and giving a first view of whether a Hong Kong company fits your situation (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, pre-contractual steps, and your consent via the checkbox, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR); the retention period for contact enquiries applies (section 7)
• Singapore Fit Check: answering your enquiry and giving a first view of whether a Singapore company fits your situation (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, pre-contractual steps, and your consent via the checkbox, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR); your details go to our team in Singapore; the retention period for contact enquiries applies (section 7)
• PDFs by e-mail (Hong Kong Fit Check, founder decision sheet “Singapore or Hong Kong?”, checklists “Non-EU bank account from 2027”, “Company, account, visa” and “Creator company”, factsheet “Long-stay visas in Asia 2026”): the PDFs are available by e-mail only. If you request a PDF on our website, we store your e-mail address and the page of the request, for the checklists also your answers in the self-check on that page, send you the PDF and may contact you once about your situation. The legal basis is your consent via the checkbox (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time, for example by replying to the e-mail. The e-mail is sent on our behalf by our e-mail service provider Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc., San Francisco, USA); the transfer to the USA is based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. The retention period for contact enquiries applies (section 7)
• Update alerts (CRD VI and visas): if you turn on an update alert, for example on our page about the EU banking rule or about long-stay visas in Asia, we store your e-mail address, the page of sign-up and, where applicable, your answers in the self-check, send you the related checklist or factsheet straight away and afterwards e-mails when something material changes on that topic; we may also contact you once about your situation. The legal basis is your consent via the checkbox (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time, for example by replying “unsubscribe”. Sending via Resend as above. We keep the sign-up until you unsubscribe; after that the retention period for contact enquiries applies (section 7)
• Singapore tax calculator result by e-mail: if you have the calculator result sent to you on our website, we store your e-mail address, your entries in the calculator (income and answers to the conditions) and the page of the request, send you the result and may contact you once about your situation. The legal basis is your consent via the checkbox (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time, for example by replying to the e-mail. The e-mail is sent on our behalf by Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc., San Francisco, USA) on the basis of the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. The retention period for contact enquiries applies (section 7)
• Improving our website and services (analytics)
• Fulfilling legal retention obligations
• Measuring advertising effectiveness (with consent)

CRM system. So that we can handle and follow up your enquiry in an orderly way, we transfer the details from our forms (contact form, Pathfinder, Hong Kong Fit Check, Singapore Fit Check, Singapore tax calculator, checklists on the solution pages and the form on strasia-consultation.com) to our CRM system Pipedrive (provider: Pipedrive OÜ, Mustamäe tee 3a, 10615 Tallinn, Estonia). We transfer your name, e-mail, phone number if given, your message and answers, and where the enquiry came from (page visited, campaign parameters). Pipedrive processes the data solely on our behalf under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR; where data is processed outside the EU, this is based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual steps at your request) and our legitimate interest in handling enquiries in an orderly way (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). 4. Tracking & Analytics Tools

We use the following services, provided you have consented via our cookie banner:

• Google Analytics: for analyzing user behavior
• Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram): for measuring ad campaigns
• LinkedIn Insight Tag: for measuring B2B ad campaigns

These services are only activated after your explicit consent. You can revoke your consent at any time via the cookie banner.

Independently of the above, we use Ahrefs Web Analytics (provider: Ahrefs Pte. Ltd., 16 Raffles Quay, Singapore). This service works without cookies and without recognising individual visitors; only aggregated access statistics such as pages viewed, country of origin and referral source are collected. As no personal user profiles are created, we base its use on our legitimate interest in a statistical evaluation of website usage (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); no consent is required for this.

Likewise without cookies, we use Microsoft Clarity (provider: Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd., One Microsoft Place, Dublin 18, Ireland). Clarity produces anonymised heatmaps and session recordings to understand how our pages are used, for example how far visitors scroll and where they click. No cookies are set, sessions are not linked across page views, and all text and input is masked in recordings. Individual persons cannot be identified. YouTube videos. On some pages we embed videos from our YouTube channel (provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). We use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). On pages with a two-click solution, such as our guides, no connection to YouTube is made until you click "Play"; only a preview image from our own server is shown. On other pages, the player loads when the page is opened. Once the player has loaded, data such as your IP address, browser information and the page you are on is transmitted to Google; Google may set cookies or similar technologies and may transfer data to the United States. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. For the two-click solution, the legal basis is your consent given by the click (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw for the future at any time by reloading the page; otherwise our legitimate interest in presenting our content in an appealing way (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). 5. Singapore: PDPA Notice

6. Hong Kong: PDPO Notice (PICS)

In accordance with Hong Kong's Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (PDPO), we inform you: Data collected through forms on this website is used solely to process your inquiry and for Strasia Group to contact you. Your data will not be shared with third parties unless necessary to provide the requested service. You have the right to access and correct your data.

7. Data Retention

Contact inquiries and associated data are retained for a maximum of 24 months if no client relationship is established. For existing mandates, the statutory retention periods of the respective jurisdiction apply (typically 7 years for tax-relevant documents).
